My partner was in this facility for 14 months and I could not fault the staff. They took very good care of him.

After visiting family member at this facility I was disgusted. Dirty and run down. Residents just get stuck in front of tv. Very hard to communicate with staff as many do not speak English.

Had very bad experiences here with regard to my loved one's treatment. We were in tears when leaving this facility, Judgemental and dictatorial staff.

Not great, i hope my dad survives this transit facility. Clothes, lost, mislaid and destroyed, shrunk through laundry process. Solution borrow without permission other patients clothes, blankets causing disruption with those lucid enough to recognise.Compression stockings for legs two pairs lost early June. Highlighted to nurse, extensive search found one, used on worst leg. Nurse advised will order replacements, despite enquiring daily all that is being delivered is a myriad of excuses for nearly two weeks.Last three days air mattress fault alarm sounding off. Advised this has all just been tested! am 14th June. We get maintenance right on it. Thursday 15th June alarm continues to activate and mattress deflates under pressure ( lying, sitting on it). Advised mattress expert coming in as has to fix another one. Before i left that day was assured issue would be addressed even if have to borrow from elsewhere. Friday 16th June arrived my dads room door shut and alarm ringing out whilst he lies on a deflated mattress. When i complained i was advised there was a mute button i could press to stop alarm and the mattress was fine! I lifted the blankets, showed them the deflated mattress, advised this is why fault alarm going off and why this needs addressing urgently. My dad after two week of stomach pains and a chesty cough was confined to his room (negative to covid) advised suspected flu precaution. On the 14th June am swab tests taken, advised should have results by 6pm and he will be given anti viral straight away if positive. On Thursday 15th asked nurse for results as still confined to dirty room. Advised will chase up. Before leaving requested update, advised results will be sent to GP and hope he contacts us! Then advised they would chase up. On Friday 16th June found my dad still on a deflated mattress, fault alarm going off confined to room. Requested results for flu viral tests. Advised still not got them yet. Pointed out my dad still confined to room, no symptoms. Advised whilst he has symptoms he will need to remain here, don’t worry this is not serious! The flu not serious to an 89 year old extremely sick man with a compromised immune system! I advised this is urgent, you believe he has symptoms, three days on and cannot get results, the longer it is left and he is not given anti viral the more likely it is he will die in his still deflated alarm ringing excuse for a bed!Next thing i am presented with another person who proceeded to give me yesterdays excuses regards results going to the GP. At this point i asked to me excused as i had heard it all already and made my way to exit. The person then had decided to pursue me shouting out my name from over twenty meters away. At the key pad controlled door trapped i advised please don’t insult me further, please let me out i need to leave. She continued and advised my body language was not good and will not be tolerated i guess as an attempt to cover, deflect create a smoke screen for the real issues. I am always polite however do not sugar coat the facts, am direct and do not suffer fools especially when being treated as an idiot. The majority of junior staff do try and deliver doing a very difficult and testing job. The management are very defensive, obstructive and threatening. They have supplied my dad with a totally unsuitable chair in terms of size that even other patients and visitors have commented on and he continues to suffer daily until the $7,000 chair we have now purchased arrives, the exact same one as Bentley hospital got for him and deemed suitable that they found difficult to override have dismissed all other chairs as unsuitable. These people hold all the cards and literally have the life and future of your loved ones in there hands and let you know it. Complain at your peril? This is a truthful account of my dads experience that i have tried to address and resolve daily.
